Covid-19

At the Amberley Medical Centre we are working hard to protect everyone in our community against the virus.

GUIDELINES:

AT OUR PRACTICE WE ASK YOU TO :

1. Phone first if you need to see a doctor or other medical professional.

2. Let us know if you have any flu-like symptoms.

We encourage patients to book a telephone consultation where appropriate to stop any risk of COVID-19 spreading by person-to-person contact, however in-person consults are also available.

If you have any flu like symptoms then on arrival, please press the intercom at the front door to advise you have arrived.

  • You may be asked to wait in your car until your appointment time to avoid congestion in the waiting area
  • Patients are required to wear a face mask if they are unwell when entering the practice

TESTING:

Should you feel unwell it is recommended that you get tested.

Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) are free from the following Community Collections sites:

Amberley Pharmacy (Pre-order required)

127a Carters Road, Amberley
Monday - Friday: 08:45 - 17:30

Saturday: 09:00 - 14:00

Sunday: CLOSED

If you are symptomatic please do not enter, instead call from your car on 03 314 8211 and we will be happy to assist.

What to do if your RAT result is positive?:

  1. Self-isolate. You’ve already prepared for it, now kick your isolation plan into action and stay home.
  2. Record your positive result on www.MyCovidRecord.nz or call 0800 222 478.
