The Amberley Medical Centre provides many FREE services to support our community.

  • Under 14 benefits
    • FREE Child immunisations
    • FREE Doctor visits for all enrolled patients under 14 years of age*
    • FREE ACC visits for all enrolled and casual patients under 14 years of age

    * We are only funded to provide free medical consultations to our enrolled under 14 year patients during practice in-hours (Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm). 


    Casual patients are welcome to visit during these hours, but will be charged a casual patient surcharge as follows for medical consultations.

GP appointments are up to 15 minutes. We will always see you the same day when needed.


We work hard to stay on time so that you don’t have to wait for your appointment. Please be mindful of this and limit medical issues to one  per appointment. If you have more than one issue to address, your Clinician may suggest you book another appointment at a later date.

Important Information

GP appointments are up to 15 minutes. We will always see you the same day when needed. However, if your doctor is fully booked you will be offered another day or an appointment with one of the other doctors.

If your problem is urgent please explain to the Receptionist, she may ask you to talk to the Nurse. All emergencies will take priority and appointment times are approximate.

If you have a number of issues to discuss on the same day, please book a double appointment. Double appointments will be charged a double fee.

Accounts Policy

At Amberley Medical Centre we have a Pay on the Day Policy for all consultations. Payment can be made Online  or in house by Eftpos, Cash, Cheque or Automatic Payment.


If you are unable to pay on the day, please ask to speak with either our Finance or Management Team who will talk with you in private.

Casual Patients

If you do not expect to receive most of your health care services from us, you may wish to remain as a Casual patient.

However, as we do not receive any funding for Casual patients, you will not be entitled to the same financial benefits as Enrolled patients and will be charged a Casual Patient Surcharge for all consultations. For more information around enrolling at Amberley Medical Centre, please

Missed Appointments

We are committed to ensuring that we provide the best possible service to all of our patients.


If you cannot attend or no longer need an appointment, it is important that you let us know in advance with at least 2 hours’ notice to enable us to allocate the appointment slot to another patient who can attend.


Please be advised that failure to attend your appointment will result in a FULL consult charge. 


We understand that mistakes do happen and that appointments can be forgotten or overlooked. In such cases, the practice will take into account the reason given by patients. However, repeated offences are unacceptable.
