Dr. Sien Lismont

I’m Sien from Belgium. I’ve worked as a GP in both rural and urban practices for the past few years while I lived in Brussels. After the busy city life, I’m excited to discover New Zealand and enjoy a different pace of life.

I’m looking forward to working in Amberley and getting to know the local community. For me, general practice is about creating a space where patients feel heard and where we work together to find the most appropriate care. I value working as part of a team and enjoy the variety that comes with being a GP, from handling minor issues to more complex cases, and seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds.

When I’m not at work, I like exploring the outdoors on hikes and camping trips, but I also love relaxing at the beach or at home with a book and sharing cosy dinners with my friends and family.
