It's about having the tools, support, and environment to thrive and build a fulfilling life, recognizing that challenging times are normal.
We believe creating wellbeing is the foundation of your overall health.

Counselling
Our in-house counsellor Jo provides a private and confidential space to openly share your experiences, feelings and concerns.
Jo can provide:
- Individual Counselling - tailored sessions to support personal growth, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more
- Couples Counselling - Enhancing connection and understanding within your relationsip
- Family Therapy - strengthening family dynamics and improving communication
Funding may be available for eligible patients.
Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP)
Eleisha, our Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP), supports people of all ages and at all stages of their lives with struggles related to behaviour change or mental wellbeing.
She is trained in ACT and CBT therapies and can support with a range of concerns such as:
- Sleep
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Alcohol and substance abuse
- Family and Whanau support
- ADHD pathway
- Neurodiversity
- Behaviour challenges in children
Eleisha's appointments are free for enrolled patients.

Health Coach
Julie, Amberley Medical Centre's Health Coach, is an Associate Registered Nutritionist who supports individuals and Whanau with their health and wellbeing goals by providing information and guidance.
Julie can support with:
- Healthy living
- Nutrition
- Forming healthy habits
- Diet and lifestyle advice
- Setting health goals
- Connect you with other services within the community
- Help with Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and ongoing supports
Julie's appointments are free for enrolled patients.
